Townhouse

The Clinic - located in a Brooklyn townhouse

The Clinic is a medical clinic run by Dr. Ella Monroe, catering to hunters and other supernaturals with injuries that cannot be taken to a regular emergency room. It is located in Brooklyn, New York, in what used to be a townhouse, and was established in 2009. Its current staff members are Dr. Monroe and one nurse, and it's the only supernatural clinic in town.

The facility comprises of three treatment rooms, and a waiting area with chairs, magazines, and a water cooler. The medical equipment is basic, and anyone with more serious injuries will be transferred to the nearest hospital (also under the care of Dr. Monroe, who is a resident physician there), which is also where scans and x-rays take place.

Medical attention is always given free of charge, but it's considered the norm to offer some sort of donation after you have been treated; The Clinic relies entirely on these donations to keep running.

The Clinic is advertised via word of mouth, and patients are always asked to recommend it to other hunters if they've been helped there, while werewolves are often contacted about it through the werewolf packs in the city. There are also small, somewhat vague advertisements in many papers. The Clinic's building is a townhouse on an otherwise residential street, and there is only a small plaque by the door to distinguish it from other residences; people have to know that they're going there, as this helps avoid patients who aren't related to the supernatural world in some way.

Patients[]

The Clinic deals primarily with two types of patients.

It's known as a hunters' clinic, somewhere they can seek medical attention without going to a major hospital, somewhere questions won't be asked, and nobody will be thought of as crazy for the cause of their injuries. No personal details are necessary for those wishing to remain below the radar, although files are kept, and no injury is too big or too small.

Unknown to the hunters, it also sells itself as a place for werewolves and other were-animals to come, whether they need treatment for aches after a full moon, because their differences in physiology mean they cannot attend a normal hospital, or if they are just seeking advice.

Witches, psychics, etc. are also welcome to be treated here. Vampires are not welcome, and will be asked to leave.
